West of Dingle

Although there is no such place really, this map shows the area we define as the West of Dingle.

With Dingle Town, ('An Daingean' on the welcome sign) forming the 'gateway' to our area. There is one main route for traffic which the tour coaches take in a clockwise direction. It follow Ventry, Dunquin, Ballyferriter, and maybe BallyDavid and is marked by brown signs labelled 'Slea Head Drive' along the road. The other roads shown are much smaller and link parts of the main route.
